Summer School 2024

Day Prep School’s excellent summer program provides individualized academic instruction in reading, writing, and math at a low ratio. Did you know there are 1,100 waking hours in the 10 weeks of summer? We recommend 80 – 150 hours of summer school for all students to avoid the ‘summer slide’ and introduce the upcoming math concepts, maintain and increase writing skills through our exceptional writing process, and build directed reading and thinking skills for the upcoming grade level. Our Integrity Curriculum teaches life-changing relational intelligence skills in regulation, organization, communication, and mindfulness. Your child will gain meaningful skills and a quiet confidence to set them up for increased progress and engagement in the coming school year.

In-Person Summer Clinics

Take an in-person Summer Jump clinic & get ahead. Choose your intensive: Reading, Writing, Math, or Art.

Tuition: $225 per 5-day in-person class. M – F 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon at Day Prep. Weeks of June 24, July 8, July 22, August 5, and August 19

Summer Jump Remote:

Start the day with a 30-minute remote class to solidify the basics.

Make next year’s teacher happy. Choose: Integrity, Reading, Writing or Math

Monday – Thursday, 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. from June 24 – August 19.

Tuition: $15 per 30-minute remote class.

Private instruction: We will connect you with your child's Day Prep Teacher via text and you will coordinate your schedule directly with them. We provide this service every day of the week from 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Indicate if you would like instruction in your home or at Day Prep. $80 per hour.

Summer Jump Remote: Monday - Thursday 8:30 a.m. or 9:00 a.m. Integrity, Reading, Writing, or Math. In the field below, please indicate the specific dates and times you want your child to attend from June 24 to August 22. $15 per 30-minute session.

Summer Jump In-Person Clinic: Monday - Friday 9a - 12n: Please indicate the subject or subjects you want your child to take (Reading, Writing, Math, OR Art) and which week(s) for each subject you would like them to attend. It is ok to repeat a subject as your child will continue to progress from where they left off in their previous clinic. All instruction is individualized based on your child's levels and needs. Clinic weeks for all subjects: June 24, July 8, July 22, August 5, and August 19, $225 per week.
