In 2021, after graduating from North Carolina State University where I studied business administration and nutrition, and after 22 years of living on the East Coast, I made an intuitive decision to relocate to San Diego. In addition to making a new home and friends here, Day Prep became my new lifework home! I set high standards for success by encouraging an independent, positive, and self-accountable mindset in each of my students. I have worked alongside children of all ages and backgrounds, as well as personal and academic challenges. By fostering open communication and leading by example, I believe any student can flourish and help their personal dreams come true.
