Hi, my name is Kate Brock. As a private instructor, I support the fostering of children’s curiosity and learning. I hold a master’s degree in behavioral psychology and am conducting research on primary school children’s education and engagement. I am passionate about the relationship between mental health and education.

I grew up in Denver, Colorado, and received my bachelor of science at Colorado State University. I serendipitously discovered my enjoyment of teaching when I was asked to be a teaching assistant for my favorite professor. I then moved to California to begin my graduate studies in psychology. Since working as a private tutor at Day Prep, I have continued my love for teaching people of all ages and encouraging positive connections with learning.
