Hello, I am Mackenzie Day! I serve as a private instruction teacher for Day Prep, in addition to my full-time work with Guidewire. From 2012 – 2019, I worked full-time with Day Prep, becoming a Master Teacher of Literacy. My psychology degree from San Diego State University has provided a useful background across my endeavors. While I love working at Guidewire, serving one private instruction client at a time alongside it truly fills my bucket. Children remind us of life’s ephemeral nature, allowing us to stay connected to our child state, a place where joy and flow are more easily accessed. Day Prep private instruction allows its teachers to create a unique relationship a child will always remember. We get to be that person who shows your child they can do difficult things, make those very things feel easier, and help them become more of who they were born to be.
