I’m Patrick Clark and I’m so excited to be a tutor with Day Prep. While I am new to Day Prep as a teacher, I attended Day Prep School as a student! It was a transformational experience for me.

During my time at San Diego State University, I ran after school enrichment programs at middle schools in San Diego, for both Theater and German language education. I graduated last May with Majors in Marketing with an emphasis in Sales Management and Theater (emphasis in Performance), as well as a German Studies Minor. I was also part of a math

mentorship program when I attended Coronado High, where I tutored math students.

These cumulative experiences brought me to where I am today. Working as a teacher for Day Prep allows me to use the strong foundation that I’ve built working with children and take it to a new level. There’s nothing like seeing a child finally grasp a concept they’ve struggled with or make it through an entire book on their own. I feel so lucky to be a part of such an amazing team and look forward to each opportunity I get to help a child grow and learn!
