Samantha Ames
Hello, my name is Samantha Ames and it is wonderful to meet you! I believe building confidence in each child is key to educational and life success. As an educator, I recognize and honor each student’s unique qualities and find joy in their curiosity. Children are some of my greatest teachers!
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from San Francisco State University. I have experience as a dedicated educator in public, charter, and private schools in San Francisco and San Diego. I have been a lead instructor for after school and summer programs teaching subjects ranging from physical activity to elementary earth science.
In addition to my passion for teaching, I am a lover of art, music, and literature. In my free time I love visiting my local library with my 1-year-old son.
I am honored to be part of Team Day Prep and to serve our community and families. I look forward to working with you!
