My roots lie in the rural Pacific Northwest where I learned the principles of hard work, honesty and kindness that I hope to emulate as well as the people of my community. I have experienced education as the privilege and opportunity to open my eyes to the world and it’s endless value. Although we might be interested in specific subjects, there is immense purpose in all of learning! I am grateful to have seen the important characteristics of truly listening and having an open, eager mind modeled through my past educators and mentors. Beyond academics, I believe, we have the opportunity to discover our strengths and skills and how we can share them with the world.
Science specifically holds a special place in my heart (and brain). I greatly enjoyed college, graduating Magna Cum Laude with my B.S. in Biology, and I hope to spread the wealth of joy and knowledge that I gained from Point Loma Nazarene University to my clients of all ages.
Working with Day Prep has been one of the most wonderful experiences I could ask for. Cara Day and Bethany Baptiste are inspiring leaders and teachers that pour their hearts into their clients, students, and teachers by coaching social and emotional skills that travel far beyond the classroom.
