Raised in the beautiful state of Michigan, my curiosity about the world around me sparked while exploring rich forests, jumping in snow piles, and swimming in freshwater lakes. Through my midwestern community, excitement, hard work, and gratitude surrounding learning were modeled for me, and these principles I hope to emulate. Passionate about engaging education, I work to create a welcoming environment where students are empowered to discover themselves as learners! Alongside educational growth, I recognize the value in cultivating our unique skills and understanding how we can apply these to better our world.

Finding my interests pulled toward the science field, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Point Loma Nazarene University with a B.S in Environmental Science. I am indescribably grateful for my undergraduate years. My education at Point Loma provided me with the opportunity to expand my knowledge of numerous subjects alongside science, and through this experience I identified the value of diversified knowledge! I hope to demonstrate this excitement to clients of all ages. Working for Day Prep has been an incredible blessing, and I am thrilled to work on a team of dedicated, hard working, and engaged teachers. Everyday I am inspired by Cara Day’s leadership and coaching, as the social and emotional skills she equips both students and families with truly transform lives!
