Hello, my name is Arizelle Montiel-Calderon. I am currently studying to attain my Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). As someone who is majoring in a STEM field, I have noticed how many people struggle with STEM subjects. Throughout high school, several of my peers would mention how math and science were not necessarily their strong suits and I would always help them out. 

 

Now, as a private instructor, I want to be able to help students in all subjects. I want them to be able to realize how fun STEM subjects can actually be. It would be amazing to be able to give a child the ability to discover a career path they may have never considered before because “the subject is too hard”. I want to help prepare students for post-secondary education.
