I’ve been tutoring since I myself was in high school.  It truly is what comes most naturally to me.  I have a background in Finance but have been teaching full time since 2016.  I connect with my students in a way that makes tutoring fun and productive, and I am genuinely invested in the success and happiness of my students.  Nothing puts a smile on my face like receiving an email from a student who got the score they needed or got accepted to their top choice college.

 

I approach teaching from a problem solving perspective.  Every student has different tools to solve problems, and I emphasize flexibility in finding solutions so that students improve upon both their strengths and weaknesses.  Tutoring can be a very eye opening experience for the student AND the teacher, and I very much enjoy observing my students build new neural pathways and strengthen their skills.

 

I enjoy travel, adventure, puzzles, sports, and music, among other things!  I spend most of my time teaching or hiking with my wonderful dog.
