Hello! I’m Virginia Zermeno, and I’m happy to be a tutor with Day Prep! I first started tutoring elementary students back in high school, and I quickly realized how special it was to be there for someone when they needed help. Throughout my undergraduate studies, I worked as a learning advocate at my university’s tutoring center, and became a helping hand for my peers. While pursuing my Master’s degree, I worked as an admissions counselor and shifted my focus from education to counseling San Diego high school students and their families plan and prepare for the next step after high school. Although I work as a teacher with Day Prep, I am a student too! I am in my second year of law school, and am hoping to use my legal degree to continue helping students and families. 

On my time off, I love to be with my family and friends.
